'69 Tradewind value?

Hi, I am trying to find a fair value to offer on a tradewind. The owner thinks it is worth 5500.00 I think more like 4200.00. It has a lot of new ie: plumbing, water pump, water heater, battery and converter. But the fridge seems to be broken. There is a dent in the front corner and some floor rot under a window. Using a mirror I can tell there is some work that has to be done to the frame at the door. The rear end has been fixed but not finished.
But, what botters me is the old bath has been removed and redone with out a toilet to add a toilet would mean redoing what is there. Having said all of this it has a good feel and in better shape then others that I have looked at.
By the way the forum has been a great learning tool!

Welcome! has a good guide for vintage trailer pricing. Price vs Condition. It's is a great site all around.

IMO, The condition of that Airstream as you described it is not worth the money your willing to pay. Good Luck!

Thanks I have read it. That is how I came up 4200.00. But that was turned down. Just not sure how high I could go.

If you are talking about the Cozet, VA guy he has had it for sale since before December. He seemed pretty adamant that he would not drop his price. But like everything in life if you have the cash and he needs the cash...Me, I always end up paying too much I have just excepted it. If I want it, I would not want to loose it for a few hundred bucks. But like all these forums will say there will be others that come along.

Good Luck
