55 flying cloud, how much?

Hi all,
Here I go again. Definitely got the bug. While driving I found a 55 flying cloud. Exterior in very good condition with one shallow dent in the front top curve section. Interior 50% original 50% restored in the original layout. Floor and tile restored with nine inch tiles. Trailer looks very good overall. Owner willing to sell, asked me to make a reasonable offer. I'm interested but I need suggestions on value.

That looks to be a very nice unit. I would rate it in the top of the average group at least.

i'd say somewhere between $4000-$5000. depends on how bad you want it. if you were trying to pick up a deal, i'd offer $4000. if you really wanted to buy it and give a fair price, i'd offer $5000.

I would check the undercarriage.

with that said, i'd find out more info about the floor from the owner. if it hasn't been repaired in the past, it's definately rotten in the bathroom and front step area. it's hard to inspect underneath because of the belly pan, but if it's been in a moist environment, you could have some steel frame rot.

ask the owner lots of questions....
