1977 Argosy with bunk beds

We are looking at a 1977 Argosy with the bunk beds . The asking price is 4 500$ canadian . Is this a fair price ? The camper had been used as a summer guest house near the beach . I don't know if any of the systems work . The floor looks solid . Belly pan and frame are also ok . Interior has a bit of a musty smell but is original . The windows are all functional with screens . The current owner says that there are no leaks ,no evidence of leaks either . We really want to renovate a camper, not restore so interior will mostly be used for paterns . Exterior has no peeling paint or dents but does have a bit of moss on the front . Should we go for it or run the other way ?

4500 is reasonable on my side of Canada....if you can at least confirm some of the systems work and do a diligent check for leaks and confirm that there are no soft floors that may need replacing.

I love my Argosy :-)

Thank you for replying , except for soft floors and leaks is there anything else we should be on the lookout for . I have read a lot about "frame separation" but I have no idea what would be the warning signs .

Quick test for frame separation...
Have an adult-size person step up onto the rear bumper and jump up and down. While that's being done, watch the junction between the bumper supporting structure and the trailer shell. If they move as one, that's good. If they move separately, there is rear-end separation.

We bought a '74 Argosy 26 foot in January. Though titled in Arizona, purchased in Southern California, the copper piping had about 5 current bursts and 5 previous bursts patched. Try to run water in from fresh water connection and see if plumbing works. Replacing mine with PEX. All of our other systems work. 4500 sounds fair.
