1973 20' argosy

Just wondering how much our trailer is worth? It is in good condition. Everything works..i.e. refrigerator, new propane hot water tank., plumbing, new cushions, A/C etc.. Had new paint job 2 years ago and looks great! I was just wondering for insurance and my own mind. Any help would be great.. thanks, Wade Phibbs (Stratford, Ont. Canada)

I insured our 1972 Argosy 20 for $5,000 a couple of years ago. It is tough to say how much it is worth without more info, but that figure is probably a good starting point.

Is it a regular Argosy or a Minuet? Minuets usually cost more, especially in good shape. We purchased our Minuet for just under $5K several yrs back. She too was in good shape, altho since the purchase some things gave up & we had to replace. If you have done some upgrades, you should be able to get at least $5 and probibly more. By the way, ours was also from Canada!

We looked at a nice freshly, painted 22' Argosy 4 years ago in Hamilton for $4,800. Also at the same time a 20'r that was priced a around $4,000. Both were in good condition.

Help?

Guess I should check.. how do I know if it is a Minuet? It has just the two wheels.. not the four. Any other distinct features I should look for? Thanks, Wade

If it's a 1973, it's not a Minuet. They weren't built until 1976 or so.

size difference
I believe the minuet is 6 inches narrower than the 20. It was only built 77-79.
