1972 Ambassador Value

Hey guys. Long story short, I have the opportunity to buy a 72 Ambassador. The guy wants me to make an offer and I’m unsure what to offer him. Here’s some info on the camper:
It’s been sitting for at least 15 years. The plates expired in 2001. All systems have been untested since then (no electric on property either). Exterior is ok. Shell has a few dents. Tires are newer (owner put a set on). Interior is almost all original minus the front sofa. From what I could see, wiring and plumbing appear to be intact. The only concerning part is some of the roll-up cabinets don’t open. I’m not sure how to fix them.

It’ll definitely need some work, so I don’t want to end up upside down on this project. Any info is appreciated!

Well, we bought a well used 72 Sovereign for $3,500 and a well used 75 Sovereign for $3,000.

I can’t say what the market is for sure but that was our market on those particular days.

It cost me about $1500 to fix the stuff in the 75 to make it livable, but we fully gutted and refit the 72, it cost more to fix.
