I have recently acquired in my capacity as Successor Trustee a 1966 26-foot Airstream trailer. It has sat in a parking lot for over 10 years and the best I can tell only the shell itself is in good shape while I assume everything else needs to be rebuilt including the interior.
My question is, what is this worth since as an asset of the Trust it needs to be sold?
Post a few pics of the interior and exterior, and I am sure that you will get plenty of estimates from these Forums. In general, though, I would say that a good shell with unsalvageable interior is probably worth $2-3k, a refurbishable trailer may be worth $5-8k, and so forth.
Trailer values, even for wrecks, have skyrocketed in the last 3-4 years, but they are beginning to fall just as rapidly right now. You might also try to find something in Ebay's completed listings that is comparable to see what people are actually willing to bid.
