We are Now Committed!!

Well, we committed to buy our first Airstream today(!!). We hope to pick it up this weekend.

It is a 2005 30 foot Classic Limited. Please see a couple of pictures that were sent to us of the trailer. The owner says it was used only three times. We have not seen the trailer in person yet, but if the pictures (and discussion with the owner) are any indication, the trailer is in excellent shape. The owner understands that if we do not like the trailer when we see it, we can walk away. I do not expect that to happen though.

We have been camping since we married 23 plus years ago. We went from tents to tent trailers to hard side (box) trailers and now to an Airstream. I have always loved airstreams, but have never been in the position to be able to buy one (for many reasons). There will be a bit of an adjustment since our last trailer had a large slideout and lots of storage. The length was about the same. I expect we are going to quickly like the Airstream over our other trailers though.

Well, anyway, here are the pictures (I will post more after we pick it up)...

Congratulations!! We were lucky too and found a 2006 classic 31 that was barely used. You will love it! The pics are beautiful and I know it will give you much fun in the days to come. There are so many things that we love about ours, I wouldn't know where to begin. Yours really looks sharp with the hickory and dark corian countertops. Best of luck and post pics when you get her! Welcome to the family
