It's just a matter of size. Lots of people are intimidated at the thought of towing anything longer than 25 feet. Plus, storage becomes a problem for the longer models.
Experienced Airstreamers that have 31 footers all say they are wonderful to tow, but for most beginners, the small, cute ones seem to be the most desireable.
The smaller ones lend themselves to camping in more out of the way places.
They all tow well, regardless of length, but we have found for our use 24-26 feet is a fair compromise between room and access to the places we like.
It is not necessarily a matter of towing experience although I suppose that is a factor. I have delivered large travel trailers for years but for our use we prefer something smaller

Just sold a 27 footer Overlander after 8 years and thought that was a dream to tow. Sold a pop-up trailer which are easy to tow if you don't mind running back to it every 1000 miles to put on a new tire! Thought the layout might be different or unique to those different models.

I posted that ad. It came down to being able to squeeze the trailer into tight spots and weight. Also didn't want to buy a full-size truck. We just bought a Safari so I took the ad down. Tows great with a 2006 Tacoma.
