Texas Newbie

Am looking at starting over after a horrendous 2012!!! I'd really like to do that in an airstream, sorta just consolidate and enjoy the real values of life. I'm looking at a 1972 29ft International. ANY words of wisdom in making this purchase would be appreciated. What pit falls should I really focus on?

1972 was the best year

Hi and welcome to the forums! You could help yourself out quite a bit by having a knowledgable Airforums member help you with an inspection. We're all here to help promote and support the Airstream enthusiast, so ask lots of questions, read lots of threads. Since you are looking at a trailer that is the same year and length as I own, have a look at my threads here and here. Good luck and welcome.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Best advice I can give is to look, study, and ask a zillion questions before you commit to buy. Airstreams are awesome, but each one has unique quirks and the more you know the happier you will be! Unfortunately, once you have the "disease" it is not curable.
