Super cheap 1978 31 ft. Sovereign - Advice needed please.
Hello Everybody.
I've stumbled upon this listing on craigslist -http://lexington.craigslist.org/rvs/1525740125.html
I'm in the UK so would be unable to look at the A/S on such short notice.
I was wondering if anybody else has come across the listing/owner/A/S and if so what were their thoughts?
I’m considering purchasing this, is this wise?

lucy airstream is only about an hour or so north of me....If you need anything as in checking on it I could maybe do that for you if you would need anything checked on it.....my husband is out of town on work so it would just be me!!

Not that it matters a whole lot, but from the photos, that trailer looks like an Excella. GVW of a Sovereign of the same year would be about 6800, and the seller says it is 8,000, The serial number of an Excella will start with an "E" instead of "L" "O" or "I", which it would be if it was a Sovereign. Most Excellas had a front lounge, like that pictured.

Absolutely not.
By the way, an Excella would have a wide blue strip in the middle of the trailer, like 8 inches high by many feet in length.

I have offered to go and take a look at the rig for them if the owner gets back in touch with them.....Kevin is out of town on work and it is just me (Monique) and the kids.....what are the things that I should look for to see if this is a trailer in "good" shape?
