Service / inspection near Portland OR

Hello Everyone
Apologies for going off topic until I get the hang of this website but I thought I could reach a lot of folks that live more or less near me.
As we stated earlier, we just bought a '75 Safari last weekend and wondered if there are any recommendations for inspectors/service people around Portland. Being that Airstream is an a class of its own I didnt want to pick a name out of the phone book.
Contact me privately if you like or lease feel free to move this to a more appropriate spot.
Thanks,
Frank

Keep your baby away from Sutton in Eugene. I would talk to AS of Spokane. Talk to Nick or Karen. 509-534-8599 If they cannot help you directly they may know someone who can.

Sutton in Eugene is your closest AS facility and I have always received good service from them. They are also very supportive of resto efforts like AS Life projects. Give them a call, could be a resource for specialists in the Portland area.

I second AS of Spokane. Very nice people. We had a problem as we were passing thru, and they helped us immediately.

thecatsandi, it sounds like you or someone you know has had a less than wonderful experience there. Could it have been a one time thing or do you know them to be consistently off the mark?

I had a "bad" experience and several others have reported the same thing. I was not liking the attitude or compitence of thier staff.

I do not tell the service dealerships that I am an active certified aircraft mechanic. I know the diference between ok, good and great. They cannot snow me.
