For sale

Just found an 06 20ft safari w/ flying cloud interior on the side of the road for sale in NW Washington. Called number and they wanted 29k for it. Way too rich for my blood but thought id put it out there. Thoughts, comments?

High price for a basic Safari, we bought a new 2007 Safari SE for $37k.

Hmmm. I don't think it's a "basic Safari" ... probably a Safari SE (which gives it the aluminum interior on that model year... Safari SEs became the Flying Cloud badging (a "flying cloud interior") in 2009, and it may be an SL on top of that, which is a package upgrade. Both of which would enhance price.

Yes, quite a difference Safari and Safari SE. SE would be recognizable with pano window in front.

dealer vs. private sellers

I`m thinking about buying a new trailer or one that`s no older than three years old.

For people who have shopped around for an Airstream, do you know what percentage more dealers usually charge compared to a private seller for the same trailer?

And are all dealers trailer prices pretty much similar?

I would like to hear your experiences.
