Dealer quote question

I have a quote for a new AS that includes a 7k Comfort Convience Package. What could this be?
Thanks

I haven't seen a "comfort convenient package" listed as an option in any of the Airstream literature for any of the AS models. Sounds like a dealer add on of some kind....maybe a package with extended warranty, paint treatment, or who knows what.

ask your dealer questions. do not be afraid to ask. I remember one dealer added 10 insurances: several life ins, misc insurances. I told him to remove all of them which he did. He wants me to buy so he did what I said. saved me like $4,000. Ask what the comfort package is for then ask us if its worth it

I asked and he named some things that are listed as standard in the brochure. I’m skeptical.

Sounds like they are padding the price to work in their favor during negotiations. Ask to see the factory price sticker and work off of that. Every new one I've ever seen, the dealers have that sticker sitting on the table in the trailer.
Watch yourself with this dealer.

Which things? I agree with pcskier; watch yourself. This has a bad smell to it.

Profit!

I would be very careful about this. If this is your local dealer, I would say I am not interested. No convenience like that is comfortable.

Negotiate only from the MSRP sticker, and bargain for a 20% discount. Now that you are forewarned, be very careful for "add on's" from this dealer. He thinks you are naive (or worse). Don't be.

I'd be even more concerned what this dealer's service shop will try to do to you, when you've got little to no bargaining power with those charges.

There are other dealers and other brands. I believe in buying locally, but not from a "slick willie" like this one.

I got my FC25 a 21% off MSRP by getting a quote for a special order for exactly what I wanted from a big dealer and then took that quote to my local dealer for him to match, which they did after some grumbling. I suggest you start with RVOne in Orlando.

It’s more complicated and often not as good a deal when you are buying something off the lot.

You can have a trailer shipped anywhere in the country for $5k or so if i comes to that.

Or just buy from a reputable dealer to begin with. We got nearly 28% off of MSRP on a 2019 Classic from the dealer in New Mexico. A trailer on the lot that they wanted to move. The wife would have preferred a darker leather and lighter countertops, but the price was right compared to special ordered price.
