California vs Ohio values
Are the California trailers worth more than the Ohio models? Example: Would a 1968 Overlander International made in California be worth more or as much as one made in Ohio in the same condition?
Not in my opinion. The products made by the two factories were very similar, but there are a few exceptions. The California whale tail is the one that sticks out to me as being more valuable then the Ohio version. Maybe it's just me, but I think that the whale tail is very cool.

Most of the units I have found in Texas for sale are from Ohio. I have only found two from Calif. One was a '65 Sovreign which the lady did not want to sell and the other is the afore mentioned '68 Overlander I found this week in New Mexico.
In my opinion.... I only really know 1958 to 1963 "7 panel" More often than not CA trailers that i come across have less rust in the frame and are in better shape over all, due to that the fact they have spent most of there life in dry climates, if I was to take a guess. So a better over all trailer makes for a better over all value... Pre 1963 both factories built trailers a little bit different, after taking several trailers apart down to their cores. I find the OH built trailers tend to be built better in many ways (to many to list). However; the CA trailers I find tend to be better with regards to design in many ways... SO yes for some reasons CA to OH 1958 to 1963 trailers can fetch better $$$$ depending on what your opinion of what matters.

Very diplomatic. I agree completely! It doesn't matter where it was built, the '58 to '63 trailers are worth more. Those were absolutely the golden years, the epitome of both design and quality.
