2010 (All Model) Airstream Changes

It appears a few of us have been surprised finding out from a new owner that 2009 is the last year Airstream is offering a 2 year warantee. I know that the disc brakes are no longer standard and they have gone back to electric brakes again. What other changes has Airstream been making in the last few years, i.e. 2008, 2009, and 2010? I know there was an end to the regular Safari models and now only offer small Safari Sport models and the new line of Flying Cloud and Serenety among its designer finishes. And many of the Classic models from the traditional RB 25', 28' and on up have been eliminated from production.

The Safari name was completely dropped in 2009. The Sport is now known simply as the Sport.

Well now I wonder if I have been misinformed about the 2 year warranty. Thanks Pill.

How is that nice new Airstream of yours? I saw the pictures it sure is pretty.

I know some years there are quite a few production changes. Sometimes Airstream will advertise the changes for the coming year, such as new fabric or wallboard, vista views reintroduced. I was just curious about what might be different that we have not seen yet.

I haven't seen a new Airstream in TOO LONG!!! What up?! I guess I better get myself in gear and attend the Nova Fest in March and take the factory touur to see what's new.

The colors of Serenity line look interesting too. Problem is I have not seen an Airstream I haven't liked. Today we showed our 27' Airstream to a buyer and tomorrow we close the deal then it's off to another flower for me, flitter, flitter, flitter.

The only change that I am sure about is that they will no longer be called 2009's

Sorry Ive wanted to do that all day!

The disk brakes were only standard on the Classics from 2005 to 2009? They are now back to the electric drums.

The warranty difference between 09 and 10 is coverage for non-Airstream elements like the fridge, oven, tv, microwave, ac, etc.

If you have any problems with any of those features you know have to deal direct with the manufacturer of those appliances instead of Airstream handling them for you.
