Smile Getting Parts in Canada for 97 Airstream

Hello

We have a 97 airstream classic 34 that we have had for only a year and need to replace many parts. Any ideas where to get parts in Canada or do we get the parts from the US.

Looks like you do have a Airstream Service Center in Alberta. You might start with them. As for getting parts from the US, you going to have to ask them about shipping to Canada, but the top three are below.

The last time I had work done on my 97 Safari in Alberta was a tank leak repaired by the guys in Balzac as listed above. This was not a malfunction of a part specific to Airstream. Buying a part, however, took months. The three US guys mentioned are all excellent suppliers with many happy customers. Sometimes, (almost always in my experience) we really get ripped off by UPS with shipping costs and brokerage fees. I have had excellent service from Can Am in London when I needed parts while in Halifax. Their shipping costs, using Purolator over night, were very reasonable. So if the guys in the US can somehow help with the brokerage issue, you will have both US and Canadian alternatives. Best to stick with the Airstream specialists since they really do know what they are talking about. Good luck, Jim

Hi,
My first post, thought I would help out a fellow Albertan.
I regularly use Montana Shipping Outlet in Eureka Montana. I believe they also have a location in Sweetgrass, just south of Lethbridge. A quick google will find the website... You register with them and then have your stuff shipped there, they will hold onto it for quite a while and their rate is cheap. I will generally order a bunch of stuff just before I know I'll be making a trip south and pick it up on the way through or shoot down there if visiting friends in Cranbrook, BC. Of course you are still liable to pay duty on your purchases, but that can vary on how long you spend in the states.
Regards, Rob.
