Inexpensive mod

So: I climb into bed with the remote for the radio, my glasses and my cell phone. Where to put them? Climb out of bed to reach the sink and bath counter? Drop them on the floor then step on them in the darkness? Build a wooden shelf to match the wenge that will stick out and clip me as I toss in bed?

No ...this is what I did...Cheap and it works. Padded cloth with two pockets velcroed to the wall.

Nice idea, i find it hard to believe I have to get out of bed to turn the lights off in my 19' ccd. Is there any mod for that, other than the flashlight I use now once I get in bed ?

Nice, rmb!

Sbb - I haven't tried but would the hook for your awning work for that purpose?

Great idea, and pretty, too!

I have a tiny digital clock low on the wall on my side of the bed, when you touch a button it lights up. Attached with velcro, of course!

Put a reading light right over the bed, within arm's reach. Turn it on before turning out the other lights, then turn out the reading light after getting into bed.

Those stick on LED battery powered lights work great where you need a light with no wiring.
