Arrow Shipping or tow for 31í Classic from Tucson AZ to McKinney TX

We have been searching for our AS for several months. Getting an inspection on a 2012 31í Classic this week in Tuscon AZ. If all looks good and we purchase, need it brought to McKinney TX sometime in March. Have not purchased tow vehicle yet. Anyone out there doing tow jobs or can make a recommendation?

Consider asking a Tucson, AZ rv dealer for a recommendation on a delivery service.
Don’t discount the benefit of trailering your new bought Airstream home yourself. There is no greater pleasure than hitching up after getting an orientation from the seller.

Personally I would buy my tow vehicle, drive to Arizona, hitch up your Airstream, and drive home. You will learn a lot! And it will probably be fun!

Hi

Is the trailer in road worthy condition? If so, a commercial tow service should not be very expensive. Shipping it on a flat bed is only required if there is an issue (like it needs new axles ....).

There's a company in AZ that I just used to transport a 30' FC and they were pretty reasonable. Bulldog RV Transport - https://bulldogrvtransport.com/ If you don't tow it, call Tina for a quote - 602-828-4062

Inspection tomorrow, hoping it’s road worthy after new tires. Appreciate the information! Dealer does have bonded insured tows available but we will also check with Bulldog. Looking at used F250 diesels around us to purchase....Now that’s a WHOLE other discussion!

Another vote for Uship.com. Used them 3 times with positive results. In addition to tires, suggest having bearings repacked (or replaced if necessary).

Be sure to join with us in the North Texas Unit group of the WBCCI club. Mike Gross is a member, also. We have a 11:30 luncheon in Grapevine Saturday, March 14th. Good group to plug into for information and tips and social contacts.

Contact me when you get to McKinney at tomjensen@msn.com.

Welcome!
