There are a *lot* of motor homes out there in a lot of categories. Spend time looking at a *range* of them before you drill down into one category. Even if you are after "small" there is a big difference between a class C and a class B. Look at multiple examples of both. Do a lot of thinking about just how you will use them.

Len is making progress, literally step-by-step.

OTRA15, that thread was an eye-opener.

One of the posters hit a nail on the head by saying that although AS is known for quality, they don't make most of the parts. Basically, the factory assembles all the bits and pieces manufactured elsewhere. Some in countries not known for high quality.
