Road Restrictions & LP Restrictions

I noticed that some states,Maryland being one, restrict trailer size to 98 inches unless on Federal roads. As the new owner of a 25' Flying Cloud I was wondering if this posed a real challenge when towing.

Also is there a book that shows restrictions to include size of LP containers allowed through tunnels etc.?

Thanks in advance

Thumbs up

Not to worry AS are built to be legal in all states.

I don't believe there are any state restrictions on TT 40lb lpg tank size. Most tunnels require that tanks be off.

Tunnels in Maryland do not allow propane. Must bypass Baltimore using either 695 loop or the Key bridge. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. Warnings posted in time to choose alternative route.

I tried that once and when I got in the middle of the bridge on the Key Bridge on the east side of 95, the stupid GPS said "Make a U Turn". The problem is that the highway dept doesn't really designate the bypass well enough to not get all messed up . Ran into that in W Va in a small town on 80. All for a tunnel that appeared to be less than 100 yards long. Got stuck on 8 ft wide streets with a 37 ft fiver and steep hills with turns designed for a horse cart. What a PITA!
