Just got back from England and France, no way could I have towed my '72 Land Yacht on most of the roads I drove on! you're very brave !

To be honest, we've toured Europe for the past eight years and never had a problem. We're much shorter than you in total, given that we are a Motorhome and a short one at that. First time touring Italy in the van though, so will see how we go.
