Video: Airstreaming to Lake Garda in Italy

Here comes another European Airstream Video...hope you like it :-)

This year's summer trip took us to Manerba del Garda to Camping “San Biagio”. Its unique location right on the tip of the peninsula "Belvedere Point", surrounded on all sides by water, makes this campsite an exciting holiday experience. The offshore island of San Biagio - popularly known as "Rabbit Island" – can be reached by a shuttle boat or even by foot if the water level is low.
Lake Garda, the largest of the northern Italian lakes offers countless opportunities for leisure activities. Whether hiking, skating, mountain biking, boating or exploring one of the many historic places in the area, there is something for everyone. One of the highlights is a visit to Verona which is famous to be the location of Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo Juliet.
One of the best ways to discover the lake is the rent a boat at the nearby rental station. Boats up to 40 horsepower can be operated without a special license and with this you can reach the opposite shore in the southern part in less than 60 minutes.

Sehr gut. Especially in an Airstream. I've been there but not camping.
I lived in Heidelberg when I was in the Army but visited Lago de Garda while visiting my sister in Vicenza, Italy. Hope all your travels are this good.

Lucky you, and thanks for sharing.

I had this dream of shipping the Interstate to Europe and spending months roaming, wandering, perusing, exploring......

Find a need and fill it.

🏡 🚐 Cherish and appreciate those you love. This moment could be your last.🌹🐚

I love Italy! I was once stationed in Vicenza and have been to lake Gaurda many times. None of those time would ever beat going in an AIRSTREAM!

Beautiful. What is the tow vehicle? The AS looks to be a 25 to 27 ft. I noticed the hitch on the tow vehicle. How does it work? Does the trailer have a dolly to support some of the weight while towing?

I notice there is a street side door in the bedroom as well as the curb side door. Is that common place in European trailers or caravans?

I like the front dinette. It looks so much more comfortable than the US dinette/couch combo in the 25/27fbs. AS should do it here.

I've driven that road before. And I wasn't towing.

You are, without a doubt, brave!

aheun... fantastic videos, great locations, beautiful Airstream!

Did you use a GoPro with helicopter for the aerial shots? Fantastic!

And, my wife wants to know where we can get a folding table like yours... any suggestions?
