Password
Hi I have a forum account and now have an I pad touch that I down loaded the app for , but when I enter my name and pass word I get booted. I requested verification of my password but never got it . I checked my email address on log in on my lap top and it is correct, I have password remembered on my laptop and evidently I have written the wrong password on my list . I need to change it but can't enter. Help

You should use the contact us option on the bottom of the page which will send a request to the helpdesk.

Look for the User CP (control panel) button on the left side, up near the banner and other links. On the right side is the Quick Links drop down.
Welcome to the forums, by the way.
It's better to post in the Forum Admin sections for introductions. Asking a question under someone else's post won't make your question visible to the community or the admins.

Go to "User CP" and click on it.
From the drop down, under "Your Profile" click on "Edit Your Details"
Click on "Edit Email and Password", follow instructions.

Or maybe follow the suggestions in earlier posts . . . quicker results doing this on one's own . . . no need to bother the site admins and mods IMO.

Site admins, moderators and the help desk are there for support. It is not a bother. Somehow he thinks his password is compromised. If it were me I would check with the help desk first to verify it is not a phishing scheme to follow a link and give away your password. They can confirm if the notice came from Airforums or somewhere else. If it were a simple password change then I agree, use the CP link (like I stated in Post #4 and AA Warn in Post #6), but this doesn't seem to be the case. The poster doesn't say how he received a notice of a compromised password.
