Very cool! I'm glad to have another 50's vintage Safari to compare notes with! Love to see the interior pics...

Yours looks to be in GREAT shape! Mine is in a million pieces in the garage right now, but hope to be back on the road with her this spring.

Thanks very much, yes, this was a good fine, in the process of removing the the paint, both end will be polished and the ceiling connecting the 13 panels will also be polished, before starting on the floor removal............

great find!

what are you using for the stripper? i'm in the process of doing my endcaps using kleen strip. it works okay but leaves a lot of paint around the rivets which i need to go back to. also, how are you managing to get everything out around the rivets. your work looks great so far.

I'm using Citrus paint remover, kleen strip and bull dozer, bought stripping pad with handle and also steel wool #3, removed the stripping pad than applies 2 steel wool pads to handle, works great around the rivets.

Great looking trailer. I'm green with envy. One day, the rest of the trailer will be as shiney as the tanks.

Was the interior all there including the appliances and fixtures?

Ooohhh...a front galley Safari! That is one of the coolest floor plans for vintage Safaris. Bed in the rear, and dinette under those three big windows. Very nice. I want.
