Moving things around

I am thinking about altering the my AS 25A by borrowing the bath concept of the FC30 that utilizes the hallway as part of the bathroom. A simple way to accomplish this would be to reverse the door swing on the bathroom door and devise a way to prop it open when in use, creating a partitioned space with the use of the bedroom privacy curtain, making use of the hallway as part of the restroom.

Rod-

FWIW - we prop our bath door open against one of the open hall wardrobe doors in our 27FB to do just what you're saying. Works great for making the bath coach-wide. Our coach is an FB, and the bath door swings "backwards" towards the lounge and away from the bedroom. It felt wrong when we first got our Pete, as you actually step into the br to open the bath door, but we're used to it now. We also prop that bath door open or just let it hang open parallel to quiet the HVAC noise if it's running.

Probably more than you wanted to know, but I hope it helps.

ShinyPete-

Sounds like yours is set up the right way. My bath door swings toward the bedroom and back of the trailer. With this setup, it could only serve the same job as the bedroom partition curtain. I am thinking of taking the door off the left, flipping it over and attaching it to the right side creating a swing to the front. I am going to measure the wall area on that side as it is the commode wall then the fridge directly behind. My wardrobe I believe swings back and is the last thing on the other side before the bedroom so I would need a bungie on a door knob or something in the galley. I just think it is a good idea to use the hall space as well.

Further thought has me considering leaving the door where it is and adding a few discrete hooks- one just inside the bath door and the other above the galley locker. That small change will allow me to then hook a shower curtain or panel across the hall when wanting to add the hall space to the bathroom and easily put away thereafter.

You could do a hook, or sticky back Velcro tape.

Nice. I will consider it. Thank you Maggie. I am thinking about what curtain. I am now convinced this is a good move.

I just found this thread. See the OTHER thread "Parlor Trick" for the solution.
