dumb question

Picking up a new 2006 Safari this weekend. Naturally we want to personalize it. What is underneath the fabric wall covering? Want to mount a few things to the wall and am concerned about holding power.

Thanks

Greg

Welcome to the forums & good luck with your new trailer!

Under the wallcovering there is aluminum. Alot of people use velcro to hold 'little things' on the fuzzy type wallcovering...for heavier items you can screw or rivet into it.

Pt. You may also want to do a search for "factory tours or factory pictures". I know I have seen some excellent member photos that have pictures of factory tours showing how aluminum studs are used when construction in walls. I don't what member had them posted.

Cheap plug...

This weeks VAP on 4/13 is all about AS construction. New and old.

Hello fellow Mississipian

Welcome aboard, we live in Oxford not to far from you. Lot of great advice here on the forums. We have a vintage unit waiting to hit the lottery for our new one. Congrades on your unit.
