What is this?
We recently picked up a 2018 30’ Bunk and we can’t figure out what this is or does or how to use it. Any insight?

It looks like an HDMI switch that allows you to take any one of 4 inputs and send out to any one of 4 screens.

So what do you think the 4 inputs would be (there is a DVD player) and how do you change which input is going to which TV? There are 3 TV’s. Thanks for the help!

That's an HDMI multiplexer. It takes the signal from the single HDMI output from the Blu Ray player, and splits it and sends the signal to the selected televisions in the trailer.

I just recently installed a similar HDMI switch. Mine has 2 inputs and 4 outputs. I use it to swith between my blue ray player and satellite and then which outputs ie different tv's that I want to have for each programming.
In other words I could have a movie from the blue ray on 1 tv and sat on another.
You may be able to look up the model number online for a user manual.

Wulfraat got it right. It is a 4x4 HDMI switch. There are 4 inputs and 4 outputs. Probably not all are used. Inputs from DVD and satellite, outputs to LR and BR TVs. Others spare. By the reflections there may be 4 cables plus power connected.

My FC30 Bunkhouse has the same unit. It’s definitely a 4x4. Channel 1 is set up to send the same signal to all 3 TVs. I connected an AppleTV on channel 2 by simply adding an hdmi cable to the back of the box.

We figured out part of it. There is 1 input (A) which is the DVD player and 3 outputs (B, C, and D) corresponding to each TV.
The DVD player has a USB port on it. Anyone know how to get that to play through the different outputs? We have all of our movies on USB sticks. There are USB ports on each TV but 2 of the 3 are blocked by the mounting bracket.

Thank you! Does your DVD player have a USB port on it? If so, have you figured out if you can send that signal to the TV’s?The USB port on the TV in the bunk and master are blocked by the mounting bracket. We have all of our movies on USB.

You should be able to put a USB thumb drive into the DVD port, then select DVD as the source on the TV, and scroll through the DVD menu for "USB". You might have USB under audio, photos, or video. depending on what's on the thumb drive. Look for the USB icon, not the word. Experiment, there's nothing to hurt.

I don't think you're there yet. You have four inputs, you have four outputs. Not all are in use. So you might have a DVD player in INPUT 1 and be able to select any or all of four OUTPUTS; A, B, C, or D.
It's a versatile switcher, I'm surprised it's in a RV.

My Google fu is strong tonight.
I think I found the User manual and it's in English!
https://p11.secure.hostingprod.com/@...hdtvhdm944.pdfHope this helps.
You have four inputs 1-4, you have 4 outputs A-D.
It's called a 4 x 4 matrix.

The DVD player does have USB port, but I've never thought about it. We're heavily vested in the Apple ecosystem, so our movies and tv shows are easily downloaded onto an iPad. The iPad can seamlessly connect to the AppleTV via bluetooth, which works perfectly when we don't have a strong wifi signal for the AppleTV.
There is a downside to this arrangement: Several months ago, Netflix disabled AirPlay functionality so we can no longer watch Netflix without wifi. (While Netflix gave some technical mumbo-jumbo reason for disabling a perfectly fine feature, it happened to coincide with Apple's announcement of becoming a content competitor. Coincidence?...I think not.) I assume we'll spring for Airstream Connected before next summer's camping season rolls around and just use the AppleTV natively.
As I write these words, I'm starting to realize how ridiculous I sound. We bought an AS to get away from it all....and now I'm scheming to figure out how to bring it all along with us! We just returned from a week at South Padre Island, and I have to admit it was quite nice being able to watch movies in the comfort of the air-conditioned trailer after the sun went down. It was too hot to do much of anything else!

Are your Netflix movies on your Apple ipad. If so can you not just use a usb cable and hook it to your blue ray player or one of the other HDMI inputs and play them?
