Such a simple question....

We have a 2012 International Serenity with the Sony Automotive media set up. How in the world do you set AM or PM?! Seems like such a simple task... NO! I have set up everything else, including the acurate time but can't for the life of me figure out how to set AM or PM. Book says NOTHING about that??? HELP! It is like a flashing microwave clock to me... Have to get it right! Thanks in advance!

I chalked it up to it being a car system you should know what part of the day you are in. Maybe change the time to 24 hr (military time)? I fixed mine by buying a Pioneer.

When you set the time did you go past the next 12:00 to see if changed to pm?

I set the time once on our Sony...then I found out that the stupid thing was a constant draw, even when off.
I now remove the faceplate to kill the draw and wait for the DJ to tell me the time.😂

Me too! When boondocking the unit is a power hog! Faceplate off is the only way, short of removing the power wire, to truly shut it off.
At least the AS came with a nice faceplate case!

Holding the off button for an extra few seconds shuts it all the way off.

Been awhile since I measured it, but I recall it still draws several hundred mA.

Edit: I take it back, you're correct. Just went out and played with it since AS is in store mode for a couple weeks. Draw is same with faceplate removed as it is "dark" by holding off button for 3 sec.

Thanks, got it ( I just needed to think!) I was sitting at dinner when I thought duh... quit pushing/turning the knob and just take it past 12! SpinWhite is right on! It is just plugged in sitting in the driveway right now but nice to know about the draw when Boondocking. I learned so much about it today. Set the Apple TV to play through the Bose speakers per Bluetooth, adjusted the sound/music, set that silly clock, learned how to remove/replace the faceplate, etc. Who knew?
