Stainless steel exterior receptacle covers with exposed screws?

I have been looking for a cover for the external electrical outlet in SS.

Looking online, I found the one in the bottom photo, a Pass and Seymour WPH26, and had the local electrical supply order it:

What came in was the top photo, a Pass and Seymour WPH26 with the screw holes exposed.

Anyone using a cover similar to the top with the exposed screw holes? If you have, are there any issues with water intrusion because of the screw holes?

I do realize that these covers are not "weather proof", but they are still used externally.

If you have concerns about the screw holes seal the screws with dumb dumb before tightening them down or place small O rings in the screws.

I think you are tilting at wind mills being concerned about a leak at the screws.
