I feel it is the best add on for a trailer. Are you pre wired? The cost has become reasonable. A couple of panels and a solar controller and you have a solar start. I don't have all the answers but if you need to ask questions contact me.

Not really because I have the Winegard wi-fi antenna wiring than the bathroom vent further back. One more would be on the ground or on the top of my truck's box, hooked up to the front solar outlet by the battery with its own charge controller.

Good question. I checked my manual and it appears so. There is a good set of diagrams and instructions on DIY roof mounting panels, running the wires down through the reefer vent to connect to the electrical harness in the cavity behind the exterior fridge access door. I'm no engineer, but it looks doable. I'm just handy enough to get myself into trouble

There are plenty of people here that can help. Mine came with wires already run. I had someone install the two panels, but I installed controller. Also built a 200watt suitcase and running it through the same charge controller. That part is new and have not used it on the road yet.

Protech- what is the issue with flex panels. We installed 300W hit summer and they are working like a charm on our 19 ft.
