Solar Charger For Batteries

I'm needing information on how to hook up a solar trickle charger to safari batteries. What goes to what? Red to whatever. Also only two wires came with the solar contraption and with two vise connections. Two batteries with safari. Help

If it works like mine, connect the positive wire to the positive pole on one battery and the negative wire to the negative pole on the other battery.

Important question: Do you have two 12-volt batteries connected in parallel, or two six-volt batteries connected in series? A photo of your battery box and cables would help.

Well, I hope there is a picture attached to this. I'm puzzled over how to attach pics.

As Mike said above -

The POS of the solar panel goes to one of the POS terminals on one of your batteries...

The NEG wire of the solar panel goes to the NEG terminal of the OTHER battery - this allows for an 'even' charge to both batteries & tends to even out the small resistance of the connections...

If your solar panel does not use a charge controller, make sure you have a blocking diode in the wiring circuit between the panel and the battery - this will prevent any discharging of the batteries when there is no sunlight - IE, at night!
