Single bat hookup

Say folks, if I wanted to hook a single 12 volt to our '17 FC just to do a water pump quick on off, do I just do both big reds to POS and both big blacks neg, yes? Ignoring all the other connections..?

Hi

Assuming that the big lines go to the inverter and the other lines go to everything else, you probably can get away with the small lines. The gotcha is if you aren't correct in that guess. The easy way to run the water pump is to just plug the 7 pin into the tow vehicle and put it into a mode that it will source power. Equally easy is to plug into shore power with a 15A adapter and let the converter charger supply the system. (note: most converters will do fine, there are a few that will not come on without a battery).
