SeeLevel II tank monitor

I just purchased a See Level tank monitor kit for all my tanks. I have temporarily placed the sensors on the tanks and wired them all up. They recommend this before permanently installing them to test them. My problem is I have no power in the trailer (haven't re-wired yet). How do I get 12v power to the main unit to test the system?

I hope you've already solved your problem, if not here's a couple of suggestions. Bear in mind I do not have the SeeLevel System yet.

I'm going to be facing similar problems in the very near future. I'm getting ready to order the SeeLevel II tank monitors. I'm planning to call Garnet Instruments Ltd.,(USA 877-668-7813, Canada 800-617-7384) makers of the SeeLevel II with some questions. One of them was going to be if I can just do a direct connection to my battery to test them. I've got a couple of deep cycle 12V batteries from before the remodel and I've kept them charged up. If you don't have a 12V battery you might be able to wire 8, 1.5V dry cell batteries in series and get what you need for a short test.

Hello. The indicator shows only 13.4 and we have been connected to shore power for a few days. How can we know if the battery is broken or if we are doing something wrong? The system is See Level II tank monitor. Thank you for any thoughts.

You are connected to shore power. Is that battery voltage you are monitoring? Sounds like convertor is doing it’s job keeping things charged as normal.
