replacement of stock DVD/CD/Radio in 2007
We have a 2007, 23 foot Safari, Special Edition. It came with a one unit Radio, DVD player with a ten CD player attached. We have converted all our music collection (other than old vinyl) to MP3 (Sonos) at home and now can carry all our music on the phone, (one less bulky item). The DVD player is not Blue Ray, and is built into the radio controller panel. It strikes me that the best bet would be to replace the entire unit, since the front button controls on this unit are complex to say the least. Has anyone upgraded this unit. Currently I can plug in my phone to the radio with hard cords thru the phone's earphone jack, but finding the right combination of buttons is frustrating when trying to get it to play. Blue tooth and Blu Ray would be so much more useful. The last hurdle is that the TV/DVD inputs are the three RC jack plug system, not the newer HDMI cable, and I suspect running the cable would be difficult if not near impossible. Hints? Advice? solutions? I welcome all.
