I would like to put a radio in my 66 Tradewind. There is a cut out where a radio used to be in the underside of the cabinet above front window. I would prefer an am-fm with cd player and I plan to get a new antenna to mount on outside by front window (vintage trailer supply). Anyway, does anyone have suggestions on the type of radio or maybe a different way to build it in to the cabinet with speakers? Thanks for any tips. Kelly

I just replaced mine. Check out Crutchfield.com for a new radio. Their custormer service was excellent. They will steer you in the right direction and help on the install. They didn't have the antenna I needed but you can get those at Vintage trailer supply or Auotzone.
My old radio was mounted in the cabinate next to the gaucho. The wires were long enough to allow moving to the overhead cabinate which made for an easy install.
