Please HELP this tech challenged newbie

Stupid question alert from non-tech saavy newbie

We just purchased a DISH tailgater. If we plug the cord from the satellite dome into the satellite port on the exterior of the AS, then where do we need to plug the receiver box inside the AS in order to make it play on the TV's inside without running the cord through a window?

In full disclosure we are not currently in our AS, if we were perhaps I wouldn't have to ask stupid questions...ha

Appreciate your insight!!

Doesn't the owner manual show this?

There may be a short piece of coax that you disconnect from a plate. Disconnect the coax and from the input side connect to the satellite receiver. The receiver then connects to the TV via probably an HDMI cable that exists in the Airstream that goes to the TV or a HDMI spliter box. If you are mounting the receiver away from the audio/video equipment then that complicates the hookup.

Hogfan, did you figure this out? Just saw this thread and we use the same setup. Have to pull the Sat coax from behind the DVD player. (Remove the box the DVD is in and search for coax there) Once found I put the receiver on top of the DVD. Added a 2x4 HDMI splitter so I could have all lines running into the splitter allowing me to watch different inputs on different TV's. Hope all is well.
