It appears to match the layout and button count for a combination property gate and multi-door garage remote control. I've seen a few variations close in size and layout but not a match.

Throw it out! Next day you will discover its use. Got to be an easier way, though.

What did Airstream say it was, when you called them either yesterday or today?

Does it have a manufacturers name and model number on it? Look under battery cover too.

Somewhere on the Airstream assembly line, a worker goes home and his wife says, "Honey, have you seen the remote for the fish tank, I can't find it."

Mystery solved!!!

Hi again!
You all are hilarious and TERRIFIC! Sorry I had to deal with work meetings all week, but I finally called airstream today.... and the answer is...

YES it is for HDMI switching.

HOWEVER, it is not actually necessary in the current Globetrotter. Hence the confusion.

Here’s the deal, according to Airstream: There is an HDMI splitter in the cabinet where the blu-ray sits. I don’t currently need any HDMI switching. However, IF in the future I install satellite TV, then I will need the HDMI splitter. To switch between blu-ray and satellite.

The kind AS representative nicely encouraged me to always click on “1” to use the current blu-ray player.

+5 points to everyone who voted HDMI.

Thanks everyone! This community is terrific.
