Intrusion Alarm?
Anyone recommend. a good aftermarket door/intrusion alarm? I'm looking for something either portable/temporary or easy to install.
This would set off a loud alarm if a break-in is attempted when the trailer is unoccupied, to scare off thieves. I'm not as worried about an intruder if I'm in the trailer - the dog will let me, and the intruder, know.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but, I bought a motion detector alarm from HawksHead Systems Inc. located in Canada. It works well and can be permanently mounted in the trailer or used as a portable alarm device.
Here's a link:

Hi Bluto, I tried the link, but it appears Hawkshead sells tire pressure monitors. I didn't see any security related products. What did I miss? Don

Don,
Yes, they sell the sensor systems and the alarm. Not sure where it's listed now on their site, I can't find the alarm either. I'd give them a call. Hopefully, they still sell them. I think I bought mine from them about 6 months ago.

I'm not sure if this is what you want. I got 2 of these last winter to set up around my generators to let me know if anyone is around them in the night. I haven't used them yet, except to experiment with them, but they are cheap. You could use them inside the AS and keep the alarm unit in the house or wherever. Of course the "perp" will be inside the AS already before the alam sounds.

Might try this…
Trailer Alarm System by Pro-Tec System One
If you get the cell module, it will even call you if the alarm goes off.
