Cool installing Ford reverse assist camera harness

Recently upgraded my TV from 2008 Ford F250 to crew cab 2021 F250 with more bells and whistles. The reverse assist system uses a specific camera and cable system that ties into the camera system of the truck ( also includes a TPMS that also displays on the heads up information display for the driver. Curious to see if anyone out there has dealt with routing the cable bundle from the the camera [customer mounted ] on rear facing location on roof of AS 27FB to hitch area without the cable being visible on the outside of the AS. Considering running cable forward on the roof under solar panels to refrigerator vent then down through refrigerator space. Then I would somehow get to the space above the belly pan then forward to the A frame in order to connect this cable to the 7/12 connector Ford supplies with the system (replacing the 7/4 connector that comes with the vehicle. If anyone out there has done this, I would greatly appreciate your insights. I have review the earlier information on camera options but haven't found a solution to this specific problem. I posted this under general and then felt this might be a better sub-forum.

I just received the kit yesterday and intend to install in next week or so. Will update when I get it done.

I found a great video on removing the refrigerator as my plan is to run the cable down the refrig vent then under the trailer through the belly pan space. Looking forward to following your progress.

It was pretty easy, I followed the propane line under the trailer and zip tied the cable to the rear bumper. I drilled a hole in the center of the bumper to mount the camera (Eddie Bauer with Hatch in back). The camera popped up immediately on the screen, my mechanic had to activate the tpms on each tire to get them synced up. I’ll get some pics this week and upload.
