improved resolution back up camera

We use the factory system on our 2019 as a rear view mirror. Trouble is the resolution is really bad. It's OK for short distances as a back up (especially with the sharpie lines I drew in the screen for the trailer width)but does not meet the need for a rear view. On our previous rig we had the Costco wired system but the install was inelegant.

Anyone here replaced the factory system with a higher resolution? Seems like it should just be an external splice of power and ground since the transmission is wireless...

thanks

I went with the HaloView RD10 that has a monitor that clips onto the TV rear view mirror. One less object on the dash.

I have no idea what your current system is. I had a Furion that was just OK. IT stopped working so I got a Haloview MC7108. 7 inch monitor was an improvement over the 4.5" Furion. Works well for me. I use a couple of hair bungees to hang it on my mirror while towing.

Haloview MC10 system

I just upgraded from the voyager (factory model) to the halo view MC10 (a little less cost than the RD10). Really like the rear view mirror for the camera display. Some discussion about it in the following thread
