Haloview RD10

Does anyone have experience with Haloview’s new product the RD10? I performed a search on the forums with no results and it appears buying from Haloview directly is the only option at this time as Amazon does not seem to have them available. I like the ability to mount it directly onto the rearview mirror. It has a forward dash cam that’s 1080p and the rear cam is 720.

Thanks Rick. GMFL (so cutting edge that guy ) actually introduced me to this particular model and a YouTube video by Love Your RV. Maybe it’s so new, ordering directly is the only way to go at this time.

I placed my order today on the RD10. Anyone with one installed? GMFL was kind enough to let me test fit one with my rear view mirror. I must say it was an excellent fit and it doesn’t restrict your view as a regular 7” monitor would.

Did you ever install this? I’m interested in this camera setup. Do you like it and how did the install go?

I installed it with a Tyrinius and have installed one other with jayseejay.
It’s a very nice system.

One special note..... THIS SYSTEM MONITOR RUNS OFF 5v DC so you CANNOT hardwire it directly into your system or up fitter switch. (Dot ask me how I found this out......)
The “12V” accessory plug has a step down transformer in it.

The camera is 12V so it is fine to power from the trailers clearance light.

Other than than small issue it’s a GREAT system.

Thanks. My airstream is a 2017 with the voyager camera preinstalled. I was thinking of switching to this unit just to avoid having the huge voyager display on my windshield. This mirror mount display seems like a much cleaner setup,

Do you happen to know if the camera with the rd10 would fit into the voyager camera bracket that comes preinstalled in later model airstreams? That would make the install very easy. I’m just not sure how the camera mounts or if it has screw holes that line up with the existing voyager bracket.

Thanks for responding for me GMFL, my cell service has been vey limited the last several days here in GTNP. I am very happy with the setup. One thing to note: I drive a 2018 F-250 and the dash camera has a slide to give it some flexibility, but the view is still partially blocked on the right side by the black cover behind the rearview mirror on my truck. Maybe something to think about, but if you don’t have any obstructions behind your mirror then no worries. The display will definitely not be in your way. The signal strength is excellent. I don’t even use the antennae made for the display, only the one on the trailer mounted receiver.

The camera will not fit the bracket.
