Front Control Board Replacement
Just as a final try, soak the entire board assembly in store-bought distilled water a couple times, fully submerged and swishing it around, shaking it off well when changing the water after 20 minutes of sloshing it around. Blow the excess water out with canned air or low pressure compressed air, 20 pounds max. Then dry it out gently but thoroughly in a warm oven, as low as you can set it for a couple hours or more.
See if it now works, then save it as an emergency spare. If there are no batteries or obvious corrosion on the board this old trick can work surprisingly well. If not, youíre just out the cost of a bottle of distilled water.
Last time I tried it the hardware had been sprayed with salt water. It recovered to be even better than new, but the owner darn near had a heart attack when I dumped his expensive photo lab meter in 5 gallons of distilled water!
