Connecting Wally SAT Box in 2020 Globetrotter.
I am trying to hook up my Wally Dish receiver inside the 2020 Globetrotter. Other forums say the Sat Cable is inside by blue ray. I cannot find a loose sat cable. I have included pics of what I see. Any recommendations on how to do this?
Thanks, Bryan

Yep! Start taking things apart. I see there is a speaker cabinet door nearby, open it and look for the cable. I swear they hide them sometimes! Mine was halfway down the wall next to the TV cabinet (Classic30).
You've taken the BluRay player box out I assume? Most of the time it is under there.

My 2019 Globetrotter in FB Twin. The sat cable is located in the wall behind the cabinet that houses the blue ray. Player.
Remove blue ray and you will find panel is held in with three screws you should be able to reach in and pull cable out. I can send pictures or post pictures if you like. Dave

Finally Found SAT Cable
I finally found the SAT Cable. I had to completely remove the box where the Blue Ray was and then open the side compartment where the speaker is. It was laying in there. I guess Airstream wants to make you work to hook up Satellite.
Was hoping the Wally would fit where the Blue Ray was, but the cutout is too small. I will have to make some modifications. Thanks for everyone's help.

FC27 Wally Install
Here is how I did mine. I purchased a 4input-2output HDMI box from Amazon (found on another thread) thought about ditching the DVD/bluray but found with a little wood work I could fit the HDMI box on top with velcro and then mounted my Wally and Apple TV on top. Made a strap to hold those two devices in-place and works well. The RF remotes make all the difference I just keep forgetting to turn on the HDMI box. OH and I added a 2 to 6 electrical outlet to handle the four devices. I found several different ideas here in the forums and this is my version. YMMV

I have a 2020 Classic 33'. Using a Dish Playmaker and Walley. I will second that . . . Airstream did not make it easy to find. Thanks to this forum and then a call to Airstream headquarters technical support, it was confirmed that there is a Sat cable that is supposed to be under the DVD player cabinet. Mine was not . . . and Airstream told me I needed to go to a dealer to find it. Instead I went to HD and bought one of those contractor cameras. After 90 mins of looking everywhere, I found it coming out of the hole to the right of the projector behind the curtain housing. It was only five inches long and was running the opposite direction. Without the camera I would have never located it . . . I had to buy a 3ft coax cable and an F Splice connector and Bam . . . I now have Satellite. No thanks to Airstream.

From my reading on the forums I would use the CABLE input.
1 I don't use campground cable (I boondock as much as possible)
2 I prefer my DISH subscription as long as I have a sky view and use the SAT input regularly.
3 other wise I stream through my apple TV
I found my cable "CABLE INPUT" when working under the wardrobe and would maybe? splice into that? and then wiring my booster from there?
Hence my signature....

On my 2019 FC I use Sat input. I had Dish installer give me a 12"cable to add to the one behind the blue ray.

Found this thread after I’d found the sat cable. On my 2021 Globetrotter I had to:
Remove the flip up cabinet door
Unscrew the two screws holding the AV box in place
Remove the three screws that hold the triangular panel in behind the speaker
Look in the dark and find the sat cable (at least they had the decency to label it
I just used the HDMI cable from the Blu-ray player. Airstream, welcome to 2010!

I had to remove the shelf that the DVD Player was installed in. This opened up the side of the trailer where all the cables where. My coax cable was deep down inside that side opening. Since we don't have any DVDs (got ride of all of them 10 years ago when we moved) I decided not to reinstall the shelf and remove the DVD player. We now have much more room inside that cabinet. I will reinstall it once we decide to sell our Airstream.

I bought a wireless HDMI extender to make it possible to broadcast the signal to an extra tv. I may have to pull this stuff out again to attach that.

From Wally to TV
I'm new to Dish but am waiting to receive my Playmaker and Wally in the mail. Thanks for letting me know where the Sat connector is for input to the Wally but what wire do I use to go from the Wally to the TV? Do I have to fish a new wire to the lounge TV (about 15ft) or do I have to split the DVR wire? Thanks in advance for the help.
