Complete restore - Noob
Hello Fellow Adventurers! We inherited a '59 Globetrotter recently (18-footer) that was unfortunately not very well-maintained over the years. I'm having to restore it from the ground up. I've already repaired the frame, replaced the floor, and patched some holes in the external skins. Now it's just an empty shell. My current focus, while I have the internal skins off, is to completely redo the wiring and electronics. Is there a reference or engineering guide somewhere that I can use to get me started? Converters, inverters, panels, batteries...where to start? I'm a pretty handy guy, and I have the time, so I'm certain I could do the work myself if I had something to point me in the right direction. I want to rig for both shore power and boondocking. Any assistance for the newby would be sincerely appreciated.
