Charge lithium batteries with a Portable Generator?

Our 2018 25RB Twin has an optional 2nd a/c. And, with the addition of a hood for the exhaust fan, there is very little rooftop real estate left for solar panels.

Is it possible to use a Honda generator to directly charge lithium batteries?

I'm thinking of charging lithium batteries at convenient time that will have the least impact on other campers.

You could charge thru your AS's converter if it is spec'd correctly for the Lithiums.

I went KISS, and ordered a Boondocker,, set it to 14.4v, to replace the IOTA IQ4 we were using with the Lifelines.

Consider a Zamp Portable, we use the 120w, works very well, charging thru the 7pin charge wire.
It's now available at 140w at the same price and size.

It all depends on what the charging parameters are on your lithiums (like which ones you have) and what your generator will produce. I would suggest finding out and going for the closest voltages possible.
