Wanna Camp Host in Santa Barbara CA?
Hi!
Admins please remove this is not allowed!
I am currently park hosting in beautiful Santa Barbara CA. We are looking for more camp hosts and I would love to see more Airstreams here. The park is Elings Park located 1 mile from the beach. It is a 230 acre DAY USE park that has tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, 2 wedding venues, paragliding, mtn biking, BMX, and hiking! Best thing is all 230 acres are off leash dog park!
This is a volunteer position. You will have full or partial hookups. Free WiFi, weekly sewer pump if no sewer. Electric and water. Duties are light with lots of public interaction. No cleaning.

Not in the market but this sounds very enticing. Have such beautiful and fond memories of Santa Barbara. Wishing you luck picking well matched candidates from this posting.

Only half serious with my statement. But seriously though, couldn’t the benefits be considered gifts or income and as a result they tax based on the assumed value as personal income.

I do not think so. You are volunteering at a park that has amenities. If you are interested, check out the park website at elingspark.org. Brian Keefer is the host coordinator and can be reached at bkeefer@elingspark.org.
Hope to see some shiny Airstreams at the park soon!

I've camp-hosted in a California county park and taxes/benefits was never an issue. Santa Barbara sounds like a great gig.
