The Repair List:

1. The Instruction Manual will have the answer
2. I'm sure you can still order this
3. All we have to do is replace this one part
4. If you just unscrew it, it will come right out
5. I think it is just a fuse that blew
6. That wire looks like it attaches right there
7. This will only take about an hour or two
8. I don't think it's a leak, just condensation
9. The repair guy said he fixed it
10. It is supposed to look that way

POP! CRACKLE! SNAP!
"I SAID I don't think you should touch that...."

Jim, ALL the guys that drive those big rigs say that, so it MUST be true!

I think this is a good thread, too. Thanks for starting it!

You guys are killin' me. I can relate to, "That tree branch will definitely be higher than the trailer" and "The dump station really isn't that bad."

Oy.

Look at all the big trucks. The food must be really good there. [the big rigs parked there cause there is no room where the food is really good.] Sal.

Thanks for starting this list -- FUN!

Very best regards,
Jim
He certainly wasn't towing very fast to get that kind of mileage...must of been towing at 45 MPH. I don't want to be behind him on a two lane highway!

My personal favorite -

"I just replaced the battery for you."

The guy told us this before we bought the A/S. Either he lied or he replaced it with a 3 yr old one!

This post about the old battery reminds me that our new (2006 Bambi delivered 4-01-06) came from the factory with a 2003 battery. My fault, I didn't think they would do a thing like that, so I didn't check, imagine that!

Buyer beware

Hah! We outsmarted those would-be thieves by having a combination lock put on our battery-holder! Now, if we could only remember the combination....

Anything that has the word "guaranteed" will have you looking for a receipt someday.

Anything that has "professional" as part of the product name... Isn't.

Any time an ad says "the frame is great, I have towed this over a thousand miles with no problems" the seller didn't notice the trail of toothpaste, TP and towels they left on the highway behind them.

Those full LP tank... aren't.

Any time the seller tells you "I am tempted to keep this one for myself" but they didn't...

Actually heard from a 73 sovereign seller in Houston:

"That wheel arch flare is a real custom touch. People pay a lot extra for that."

Yeah. It was the worst rear separation I have ever seen, and the frame had creased about two feet behind the rear axle, creasing out the wheel arch. Walking inside, there was a definite uphill, downhill sensation walking from front to back. Terrible waste.

YES, its like brand new

"This post about the old battery reminds me that our new (2006 Bambi delivered 4-01-06) came from the factory with a 2003 battery. My fault, I didn't think they would do a thing like that, so I didn't check, imagine that!

Probably left the factory with new battery. The trailer would be handled by a few people before you got it.

"BLOW OUT -- Completely gone over"
translation - get it our of here before we have to fix what we found wrong.

One of the things I hear from time to time on TV ads: "So you don't forget, order today!"

If it's something that easily forgotten, you have to wonder how much you really need it, huh?
