We do GEICO in the states. They know we are full timing and averaging 10k miles a year. Sorry, not sure about Canada though. Just figured this would get the conversation started or at least you could reach out to geico to inquire?

I have my insurance through MetLife here in the States.

Think it's around $500/year with $250 deductible and claimed value trailer of $100k

Thanks for the info. I hope there is someone in bc that can offer the same thing. I tried with CAA ( canadian auto assoc.) But they don't insure trailers that are lived in or 20 years old

Hi

Be very careful looking at rates quoted from a wide range of locations. Insurance pricing is very location specific. Yes, that's weird when you *could* be sitting anywhere in North America.....

Canadians must have insurance from the province in which they reside. If you are transient I would guess you go by the address on your trailer ownership (title). I am from Ontario and my biggest issue shopping for insurance today is getting coverage for the true replacement value for a trailer that is over 10 years old.
