Looking at the pic of your stairs, were they completely stored up in the travel position, or down like shown in the pic? They should tuck up under the belly a bit more I believe....

That is the up and stowed position of the steel stairs.

Yes that is the up and stowed position on those stairs (and now it's permanently up I am impressed with Portland, they made it right and ordered us a new set of steps and a sway bar to replace what was damaged and Mesa is fixing it for me...it will be ready by Monday! They also want about an hour with the Toad to hitch it properly.

Just realized I never attached pics of the finished "Steel Queen"!! It's been since I last posted living full time on my friend's property which sadly was flooded so I'm now in a park. I've loved it and have had some high points (installed on demand hot water heater) and low points (have to pump septic and have been through two pumps, ugh) but I love it!! I have lots of advice on things that simplify my life as well as some customizations I'm in progress on thank you all so much for the advice and support!!

Thank you for the great update. I recall reading your experience last summer and admire that you didn't let it spoil future Airstream experiences. You've added beautiful touches to personalize your girl. She's just lovely.

Thank you so much!!! I'm really enjoying it and just successfully backed into a space I've reserved for a year will be my last since I just got married and my husband isn't ready to give up the big house just yet...I think a year from now I'll be ready for the luxury of a bathtub and my fireman lol! Here are a few of our wedding pics, I wanted one with my silver baby but couldn't figure out how to get it to Paris!

An impressive trailer.

Did you find an RV park you like? I've only looked at Braunig Lake so far. Making plans to get off coast, and SA a possibility along with Houston and Tulsa.

Beautiful trailer

@jkfinephoto

Now that I can see you have a 30RB, you may wish to see some mods on my 30RB. Please excuse the "snapshot" quality.

I like to see what is in my closets, under the bed, etc., so lighting is important. They all go on automatically when the door is opened or bed lifted. On Flickr:

Thank you so much!!! Jason isn't too hard on the eyes, lol. I had an amazing photographer in Paris named Ian Holmes. Since I'm a photographer I was very picky about my own photographer and Ian did a fantastic job!! I took my own photos of my stream.
