Bought this Dyson-like stick vacuum from Amazon a couple of months ago. So far, so good. It feels like and seems to perform like a Dyson--but at a much lower price. Well rated on Amazon.

Dyson and DeWalt here. I put the charger on the front slide facing and plugged it into the socket on the roadside wall next to the couch.

I really like my Shark cordless! I got it at Costco. Not as expensive as a Dyson, and it works great on the Airstream.

Another Dyson fan, we have an animal 8 also.
Love it in the house and the AS.

Was going to get a cordless and looked at them all but the run times were not that good and the corded were more powerful, so I thought,if I have to plug in a charger to charge the batteries why not just get a corded. Shark Ion Flex with the upholstery and crevice tools. Works like a charm.

We use a broom, foxtail, and dustpan for quick cleanups. For vacuuming we use a Home Depot Bucket with the Bucket wet/dry vacuum head attachment. The bucket gets double/triple duty around the campsite when not using it as a vacuum. The bucket also become storage for the hose and attachment when traveling.

Having a dog that sheds enough hair to make another dog made me somewhat of an expert on vacuums.
For pets the biggest factor, IMO, is if the roller gets clogged with pet hair. You'll spend too much time cleaning the roller with a pic to get the hair off. At home I now have six vacuums, so far none are perfect.

We too have the Dyson Car and Boat and love it. It doesn’t include the long metal tube to make it a stand-up vacuum that other Dyson models come with or the wall-mount charger/holder, both of which which we find unnecessary and prefer not having to save space in the Airstream. We store it in an overhead bin and charge it on the countertop. Works great for keeping the Airstream and truck clean.

We got this one a few moths ago and absolutely love it. Telescopes and easily slips apart for storage in a small space. Very light and maneuverable.

I have a shark rocket plugin model. It came with power head, long stick and attachments. Easly converts to hand held. Love it in trailer. Have a dyson at home and the Rocket seems to work just as well. Good luck.

Precisely the reason I tried the Shark Apex. I have 2 Samoyeds and they do shed a bit. The Apex has a roller cleaner as it vacuums and it actually works as advertised.

Our dyson V7 fits perfectly in the slot that was originally intended for folding camp chairs by the door of our 1993 Excella

Love the Makita

Makita makes a great stick vac that takes the same 18V batteries as their power tools. Works great and lasts long enough to do the whole 27’ trailer and then some. If you’re bringing the battery for your drill/driver anyway...

Especially If you have dog hair, get the extra canister (despite the absurd price for a plastic cone).

After I converted our B&D Dustbuster to charge from 12V and didn't realize that despite the barrel plug, it still wanted AC input, we purchased a Shark WANDVAC and have been very happy with it. The dustbuster died a horrible and smoky death!
